Sunrise is FSC® Certified
Sunrise Digital is a Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC®) Chain of Custody (CoC) certificate holder. We are certified by the Rainforest Alliance SmartWood program as meeting the FSC® CoC requirements. As a result, projects produced by Sunrise can bear a Rainforest Alliance seal alongside an FSC® certified label.
All of our Indigo digital printing papers are FSC® certified and contain recycled content ranging from 10% to 100%, so even when a project is not specified to require recycled material, we're doing our part to making the planet earth a friendlier place for all of us.
What is the Forest Stewardship Council™?
FSC® is an independent, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s
forests. It provides standard setting, trademark assurance and accreditation services for companies and organizations interested in
responsible forestry. Products carrying the FSC® label are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are
managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.FSC® has offices in more than 45 countries.
What is the Rainforest Alliance?
The Rainforest Alliance aims to help reconcile the growing demands for trees and other forest flora with a diminishing supply. The mission of
the Rainforest Alliance is to protect ecosystems and the people and wildlife that depend on them by transforming land-use practices, business
practices and consumer behavior. Companies, cooperatives and landowners that participate in their programs meet rigorous standards that
conserve biodiversity and provide sustainable livelihoods.
